Policy Governing Scholarship Funds:

 Your Scholarship funds may be utilized after graduation from high school for post-secondary education, graduate studies, continuing education courses, vocational and technical schools, or for training at approved trade or business schools. In addition, it may be applied at any time to educational seminars and training, bowling academies and camps, and specialized educational camps.  Prior to applying for funds for such training you must furnish this committee with complete details regarding the school and training to be pursued.  The Scholarship committee shall have the final decision on determining the appropriate use of funds for such specialized education.

 Scholarship funds may be utilized for tuition, room and board (if living away from home), textbooks, optional fees of the institution or organization, and equipment necessary for completion of the course study which can be fully documented.  Any other items must be brought to our attention for consideration and approval.

 Scholarship funds may not be applied to the cost of primary or secondary private education, private tutors, sports camps which do not include bowling, specialty equipment or research work and travel which is not directly related to the course study or chosen field of study, transportation to and from the recipients home and the institution or organization, personal clothing, or any other personal needs.

 Your Scholarship is not contingent upon grades. However, if for any reason you should leave the school permanently, any remaining funds

would revert back to the Scholarship fund. We must be promplty notified should this occur.

 Your Scholarship funds must be utilized completely within five calendar years of the year of your graduation from high school. Any funds

remaining after this time period will revert to the Scholarship fund and will no longer be available to you.  No extension of time will be granted.

These Funds may only be used by the recipient and are not transferable.

All  Scholarship funds must be paid directly to the School or Organization, noreimbursement of expenses will be allowed. The Scholarship committee shall have the final decision on determining the appropriate use of funds for Scholarship recipients for all matters not covered otherwise in this policy.
